African Elephant
Its Amazing Adaptation:
African Elephants use
their trunks to make loud noises frighten predators away. It is also flexible
to reach up to food in high places like leafs. African Elephants also have a
water capacity of 2 gallons to spray on their skin to keep them cool. They also
use their trunks as snorkels in deep bodies of water. Their tusks are long,
sharp, curved and made out of Ivory. They are also able to use these to toss
and turn grass and roots out of the ground. Throughout the Elephants lifetime
the tusks grow. Tusks are kind of like teeth.
