Its Amazing Adaptation:The Touch Me Not plants amazing adaptation is it moves when it’s tickled. So when you touch it, it closes up. It also does this during day and night. It shrinks to protect itself from a predator. These plants are mostly found in south America and central America. In this habitat there are a lot of insects that try to eat it, so it has adapted to shrink really fast to scare the insect away. It does this by letting water out and the cells collapse on each other.
